FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I meet you before I decide?

Yes! I strongly recommend meeting in person with a prospective therapist to make sure you’ll be a good fit.  Feel free to contact me about setting up a free 30-minute consultation at my office.

What are your fees?

I charge $140 for a 50-minute session and $200 for 75-minute sessions.

How often will we meet?

I encourage clients to plan on weekly sessions initially when possible, though sometimes, for financial or scheduling reasons, every two weeks is preferable. Over time we may decide to meet less frequently, and then on an as-needed basis. I do my best to accommodate your busy schedule.

Do you take insurance?

While I do not take insurance, I am happy to provide a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your insurance company to see if you have out-of-network coverage.  (Please note that using insurance requires assignment of a diagnosis.)

What type of payments do you accept?

Cash, check and major credit cards are accepted.  I also accept HSA/FSA cards.
